Democrats have started rallying around Vice President Harris to take over as the party’s presidential nominee following President Biden’s abrupt exit from his reelection campaign Sunday.

Harris received a rapid flow of endorsements from top Democrats, including dozens of lawmakers, multiple governors and key groups.

She is scheduled to make a public appearance Monday morning at the White House at an event honoring championship college athletic teams.
